Frequently Asked Questions
In the initial sessions, our focus will be on understanding your background, your personal journey and your expectations from therapy.
As we proceed, each therapy session will be tailored to address your most pressing concerns and goals. Generally, you’ll learn to manage your symptoms, leading to stabilization over time, even in the face of potential triggers
Other important elements of the therapy process may involve helping you in these areas:
- Comprehend the significance of your emotions
- Enhance your ability to embrace your experience
- Explore thought patterns and beliefs that may no longer serve your current self
- Assist you in moving forward with greater clarity and purpose
Each session is up to an hour.
We offer video sessions over the internet (”telehealth”) to all clients (local and international) as well as in-person services to clients residing in Singapore. This telehealth support is provided by our professional therapists for clients where therapy is not easily accessible face to face. Rest assured, telehealth is delivered with the same standards and duty of care that you would expect if you visited one of our therapists face to face.
Weekly therapy appointments are recommended, especially in the early stages of therapy. As you become more confident in managing your symptoms and triggers, the frequency of therapy generally reduces accordingly. Having said this, everyone has different needs. It is recommended that you and your therapist discuss the frequency of sessions when you begin to work together.
- Please note that we require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Any cancellation or rescheduling with less than 24 hrs notice will be considered as “Late Cancellation” and it will incur a full session fee.
- If you don’t show up for your appointment, it will be considered as a “late cancellation”, and a full fee will be incurred.
- Late cancellation may be waived on a case to case basis or with a medical or emergency reason.
All therapy sessions are by appointment only. To book for a session, you may whatsapp +65 8025 0939 or through this online booking system.
